Lovely location if you are...

Liked: 1. Arrived early for check-in but the nice restaurant/beer garden was open and that made the wait so much better.2. Unfortunately the rooms don't have refrigerators but that meant anytime you needed milk for tea - you can call front-desk and they brought it to you in seconds - it was a nice service.3. Room Service - they do offer the ability to bring food to the room. 4. recommend the suites because they have a sunset view.5. On-site restaurants - the pub and Vu restaurant have the same food but lovely experiences and high quality food.6. Joe provided great service
Disliked: 1. Bathroom was relatively new (pretty new for England) but it could have been cleaner (minor mold on the ceiling)2. Breakfast time - the breakfast restaurant is only open for a short period of time so you have to sign up for a time slot. This prevented me from going down to breakfast just because I couldn't be spontaneous (like if you pick a time on the first day, are you stuck with that time for the whole duration?). This also made the time in the restaurant stressful for the staff and created some delays. It is lovely that breakfast was included and overall it was a good offering but overall experience is diminished (might work for a business hotel but not a leisure hotel such as this one).

Liked: The location was good for anyone wanting to do the various walks
Disliked: No bus route and breakfast was not in the conservatory with its great view to start the morning off. They only have a press button coffee machine which produces inadequate coffees for the price being charged and the crockery was incorrect for the flat white I returned,due to it being far from a double shot it should have been the worst coffee I have ever had.The price of the food is also quite expensive.
