Good, bad and ugly

Liked: Location brilliant. Breakfaar and food in the main pub was amazing.
Disliked: The room went through a very damp and dirty conservatory. This was part of the rooms facilities but was not suitable to use. Unfortunately the very damp odour seeped into the room.

Great location for visiting the...

Liked: The location, close to the Iron Bridge, one of the museums and not bad for the others, some walkable. The views of the Severn river, and how fast it flows and how much it rises and falls, were amazing. The food, both breakfast and we also had dinners there. The bathroom size and facilities, especially shower very easy to operate and effective.
Disliked: The room was a bit dowdy, but Carl the owner told us it is due for a refurb. It would be great if there were a lift to access the rooms on the upper floors, if possible within any Listed Building permission.A chair or something else would be great in the bathroom, to help more senior visitors to dry their feet and so on.

Perfect, unique and quirky for...

Liked: Great little hotel, just on the outskirts - team were all very friendly - room was pleasant, and well decorated and comfortable. was perfect for a quick stop to rest after meeting up with a friend. Super warm and comfy.
Disliked: One of the glasses for water hadn't been cleaned, shower overhead was broken and had to use the small head. walls are quite thin as heard the alarm clock going off in the next room who kept snoozing the alarm.

Beautiful chilled location

Liked: It is very beautiful inside and out with the decor of the building. The room is very comfortable and feels very luxurious. The staff were very inviting and are happy to help. There was live music on until about 12pm on the night which was really good and drinks were very affordable.
Disliked: If you are a couple that wants to go to bed and chill early on the night then this isn’t the hotel for you as the music from downstairs is very loud. Can be heard and felt from the bedroom ( maybe because we were directly above). As this loud music goes on until 12pm maybe later some nights. Even on Sundays ( maybe because it was Easter weekend) But this wasn’t an issue for us.
