Absolutely amazing stay and will...

Liked: Absolutely loved the Penthouse suite (only criticism would be it needs some work on the cobwebs) - it is an absolutely amazing room for the price paid - was extremely pleasantly surprised. Had evening meal there too and I had the best steak I've ever had in my life - absolutely perfect and cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also very lovely. All in all cannot fault the pub/room and will definitely be back.

It was ok

Liked: Check-in was easy and staff were great. Location is good and within walking distance to a lot of amenities. We ate at the Malthouse and the food was good, especially the breakfast, which was amazing
Disliked: No parking available at the premises. Ursine drinking area was untidy and ashtrays needed emptying and cleaning. Our room was very basic and the cleaners really need to pay more attention with their job. Some of the furniture in the room was very dusty and hadn't been wiped down for weeks. Could do with a small mat to wipe your feet on the way in as the carpet by the entry door was dirty

Liked: The area was nice and the hotel seemed ok
Disliked: The fact that they provided an untruth in their advertising. They say that there is free on-site parking and we couldn't find any. We were informed that we could park in the road out front (40 minutes at a time), or alternatively, use the parking at the pub next door which was shared. This was full and people had parked others in. The parking area, where our room was, had cars in it and we were informed by an arrogant manager that there were reserved for staff. We then decided that we could not stay at the hotel as we had nowhere to park our car and enjoy the trip with continued disruption.
