ABOUT THE AREA: Potts Point has earned the reputation of being one of Sydney's best places to live. Located on the edge of Sydney Harbor you will love the vast choice of quality local cafes restaurants and bars. You don't have to go far to find the best coffee the best meal or the coolest bar. You will also find a special something to take home with a choice of several individual boutiques and vintage stores. Saturday is local market day where you will find exciting and delicious foods and products. EXPLORING SYDNEY FROM THE MAISONETTE: The stunning Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens is a short 10-minute walk away. Stroll through these beautiful gardens to the Opera House and Sydney Harbor foreshore. Take a ferry to Manly for the day explore The Rocks Darling Harbor or shop until you drop at our central shopping area. Sydney's famous beaches are also easily accessible via our excellent public transport network. ABOUT THE PROPERTY: Our property welcomed its first guest in 1929. During this era the construction of the Sydney Harbor Bridge was well underway and Sydney blossomed into an international destination for foreign travelers. Our cozy rooms have been styled to draw on elements reminiscent of this era. Locally owned and operated we offer an affordable accommodations approach ideal for experienced travelers who do not require 24-hour onsite attention. Our friendly team is always available to chat via telephone or messaging apps when we are not at the front desk. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Our property has three room types which are accessible via a central staircase. There is no elevator at the property. For couples and friends we offer a choice of King and Twin bedded rooms with a private ensuite. For the solo traveler we have the option of a room with a single bed and shared bathroom. Rooms are serviced weekly. Our property suits the independent traveler and while we operate a front desk service during the day these hours are limited. Please check with our team the operating hours for the day of your arrival. Don't worry if you arrive when the office is unattended. We will organize to leave the key for you in the lock box at the front door. Our team are available via telephone should you need anything after hours.
