The Maids Head Hotel

We went to an event at the Norwich Arts Centre and I originally booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Arts Centre. What a stroke of luck - our room was overlooking the cathedral; nice and spacious; great bed! We went into the bar and grabbed a quick bite to eat - loved the bar and the food was great; all the staff were very helpful and friendly; can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Great location, lovely & comfortable. Breakfast great. Quiet room, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Bedside tables needed cleaning, dust & ring marks.

Liked: The building had lots of character and the staff were very helpful.
Disliked: It could be difficult to find the room!

Very pleasant hotel in central...

Liked: The central location is ideal. The single room was very comfortable and well appointed. I appreciated the mini fridge and replenished water. The bathroom was immaculate. I liked the inner courtyard for al fresco eating.
Disliked: I realise it’s a very old building, but I found it difficult to manage the extra few stairs between levels with a suitcase. On reflection, I guess I should have asked reception staff to help!

Perfect weekend away

Liked: As always the staff are so friendly, know us as soon as we walk in. The hotel is beautiful 5* and a perfect location.

Disappointing

Liked: Good location, good Breakfast
Disliked: Noise - right opposite a bar which played loud music until very very late and no appropriate glazing to stop it. Also I requested a room which could be accessed by lift as I had just had an operation. My room was on the 3rd floor and not only did have have to go up 3 steps to get to the lift (which I wouldn’t have minded) but when I got out of the lift I had to go down a flight, up a flight and down another flight before I got to my room. Not exactly what I was told at reception
