The Maids Head Hotel

We went to an event at the Norwich Arts Centre and I originally booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Arts Centre. What a stroke of luck - our room was overlooking the cathedral; nice and spacious; great bed! We went into the bar and grabbed a quick bite to eat - loved the bar and the food was great; all the staff were very helpful and friendly; can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a great stay.

Liked: Love the comfort of this historic hotel.Big but never feels too busy.Plenty of relaxed seating.Friendly efficient staff in all areas.Fantastic location in centre of Norwich ,everywhere walkable .Our room was very clean and shower was powerful.Excellent quality breakfast with plenty of choice.
Disliked: Having stayed many times before (pre change of ownership/refurbishment)I felt the evening menu option was limited and overpriced which was a pity as we felt obliged to eat outside of the hotel .Also the bar is very quiet ,often empty.It is a pity the hotel cannot attract non residents in to give the place some atmosphere but I appreciate there is a lot of competition in the surrounding area.
