We went to an event at the Norwich Arts Centre and I originally booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Arts Centre. What a stroke of luck - our room was overlooking the cathedral; nice and spacious; great bed! We went into the bar and grabbed a quick bite to eat - loved the bar and the food was great; all the staff were very helpful and friendly; can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for a great stay.

Good location but rooms lack...

Liked: Great location — easy to walk to most places Comfortable beds and pillowsFriendly staffGood aircon system and windows that open!
Disliked: The room was underwhelming. Booked an executive double but it was right next to the cleaners' station so very noisy from early until late in the day.The water was lukewarm on the first night and the water pressure wasn't great.Poor WiFi in the room and no signal. I was planning to do some work while there but it was very challenging.

Wonderful Hotel in Fabulous Norwich

Liked: The location is outstanding. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the amenities first class.
Disliked: I had a poor quality steak but the staff were amazing and gave a full refund.

Tired hotel, over priced and...

Liked: Positioned very well, car parking availability (at an additional cost)
Disliked: Seemed a little tired in the rooms, there was an event/band playing until midnight and we were not informed prior to our visit or when we arrived, noise did disturb us. The layout of the hotel is not very welcoming seemed to be a lot of empty unused spaces. Only one bar available, small and busy so didn’t go in, we could have sat in one of the other spaces mentioned but as I say those spaces seemed unwelcoming!! Staff were helpful. Just personal preference - I felt it was over priced for what was offered/provided and I wouldn’t stop there again

Lovely stay - would be...

Liked: Lovely bright comfortable room with view of the cathedral. Good breakfast and helpful staff with special mention for Noi who looked after us beautifully at breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed.
Disliked: Service at the bar in the evening was a bit hit and miss. On two occasions I had to go looking for staff to come and serve me as the bar was empty and left unmanned.
