The Madison Hotel

Warm welcome and cozy atmosphere. Old A/C system was noisy but I like it like this for background noise.

Liked: Quiet and good breakfast.
Disliked: The view in the back over an A/C unit.

Disliked: The parking lot is looking very tired and reflects poorly on property

Liked: Our room, Rod's Restuarant, the friendliness of the staff. Very pleasant suburban location away from car traffic and I-287 noise at some other Morristown locations. Close proximity to NJ transit rail station.
Disliked: Not their fault and could be an advantage so close to Convent Station NJ Transit rail station but some may object to hearing the train horn early in the morning. This did not bother us at all as we were used to having stayed here previously I find this an advantage as we could use NJ transit train to get here very conveniently.
