Liked: Loved the staff working there! Loved the coziness out from the winter cold. Loved the access to parking. Loved the “oldness” of the hotel. Loved the location, walking distance to harbor and easy of access from and to highway.

Grand old building with wonderful...

Liked: We had a great stay, the staff were amazing, great location, and a beautiful and grand building.
Disliked: The only negative for me was that the room was not warm enough, probably because it was a large room and the location of the air conditioner was not central…..

So much Potential... But..

Liked: Location is fab. Love the oldness about it all. The rooms are nice and big actually. Nice and toasty with the heater with it being 2dg outside last night.
Disliked: I find it outrageous they can't have an open fire/s.. it ruins pretty much everything. You have a fire going, you have a community..! I don't care what the 'OH&S' Authorities say.. it's not good enough. A tonne of other places have log fires. Just make it happen! See the photos? And see why there's zero people? Because there is no Fire. No music. No vibe. They have happy hour beers for $7 from a bottle. Down the road it's $8 pints on tap. Their parking is charged at $25 a night. It's free literally everywhere on the weekend. I paid for breakfast, I was charged for the coffee.This place has so much more potential.. they need to urgently lean on ways to bring a feeling of Hygge to the place.. it felt like an old person's backpackers without the community.. and it's way better than that.
