Pleasant
Liked: Location is fantastic
Disliked: The mattress wasn't very comfortable. Perhaps it's time to renew it. Also, an extra toilet paper would be appreciated.

Liked: Loved the courtyard. The room was a good size.Fantastic location
Disliked: The shower needs a serious rethink. I only just got in the shower and had to slide around the door and up against the wall to do so and my husband was unable to get into the shower at all.Reception was closed so we were unable to ask for any coffee bags. And only 2 teabags. Plenty of peppermint tea if that's your thing. No biscuits to have with the peppermint tea.lucky coles is within walking distance.

The room suffered from extreme...
Liked: When mentioned to the receptionist how bad the room was and that I normally stay at their other location she gave me a free breakfast voucher to make up for the terrible night. All the receptionists are lovely and I will continue to stay at their other location. I just thought I would try this one because it was cheaper for this particular night. I now see why.
Disliked: The noise and the vibration from road traffic was horrendous. The room was below road level and there were two large metal plates built into the road just outside the bedroom window. These metal plates banged and clanged as traffic went over them all night. I expect traffic noise and tram noise but this was exceptionally bad and felt like the traffic was going over the top of the room. The receptionist indicated it was well known the twin studios (queen plus one single) are underground but I didn't see anything about this on Booking.com
