The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites

It was close to where we were going for the evening so it was nice to stay handy to the area. Love the old vintage style of the hotel as well. Enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. Walking distance to places to eat, shop, and the show.
Disliked: I just found the front desk not very welcoming when we arrived or checked out. There was no menu or book in the room about the hotel restaurant.

Liked: Clean well equipped and nicely furnished rooms in a great location
Disliked: Our room was quite small. We arrived by train that was delayed and no taxis were available to take us to the property. The walk is about 20 minutes from the ViaRail station.

A beautiful downtown hotel option.

Liked: This beautiful hotel has a great location in proximity to the park, the Citadel, and shopping. Having on-site parking was very convenient. We chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a special day.
Disliked: The room we had only a couple of very small windows with no view.

Great location and very clean...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. At first my room was not what I had booked but a quick call to the front desk fixed that situation.
Disliked: The google cast feature on the TV kept cutting out. I asked at the front desk to have it fixed and they did but it still didn't work that well. I think it was due to a weak wifi schedule

Liked: The staff where friendly and helpful responding to the needs of my parents including their request to a room change based on their need for two beds.
Disliked: There was a bit of miscommunication when they checked in.

Great location

Liked: Excellent atmosphere and staff were wonderful! Location was central to everything!
Disliked: There was a dirty undergarment left by someone behind a chair that was missed. Also, there wasn't any cleaning done between our first and second night's stay.
