Bad

Disliked: Having ate dinner with my colleague in the hotel bar the day before (+£100) and booked two rooms with breakfast included (£183) it was a bit ridiculous to be told on check-out that I couldn’t transfer my included breakfast (I don’t eat breakfast) to a 3rd person who joined us that morning for a meeting and had breakfast. Yes, it might only be £12.48 but it’s the principal.

Loopy shrew

Liked: Comfy bed, amazing breakfast, friendly staff.
Disliked: Not that we didn't like anything, but could just do with a handrail on the little steps to bathroom in Quarry place.. Bit scary going during the night. Used light from phone. But otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Lively lovely place to stay.

Liked: We stay in Shrewsbury at least 3 times a year because we find the people friendly and enjoy shopping and dining there
Disliked: Nothing except missed lovely sofa in bar to relax on with a cocktail...or two 😀

Ideal location, but in need...

Liked: The location was great. The breakfast was lovely (ask for Americano though not Cafetière) The housekeeping staff and waiting on staff at breakfast and dinner were friendly!
Disliked: The man who ‘welcomed’ us and worked at the front desk was most certainly NOT very warm and barely smiled or made eye contact with us. The rooms were tiny and dated - in need of a revamp. The room are noisy - we were warned of the DJ when we arrived and ear plugs were in the rooms!
