Liked: Good location and beautiful exterior
Disliked: Interior is looking and feeling worn out - needs a refresh. Breakfast was ok but not amazing. All in all it felt quite expensive for the standard.

Comfortable overnight in the heart...

Liked: Room was large and bed was huge and comfortable; location very good for exploring the town.
Disliked: A number of niggling maintenance issues - list given to desk.Ventilation not great, and the search for power points exposed some cleaning misses.Unnecessarily large TV screen - money would have been better spent on updating sash cords, repairing window locks to allow both security and ventilation, fixing the reading lights, and providing a hairdryer socket near an illuminated mirror.

A quiet comfortable room with...

Liked: The room was welcoming and the bed very comfortable. The car park was easy to find. The small balcony area was an added bonus.
Disliked: The breakfasts was very poor. I ordered smashed avocado and poached eggs. The avocado was not freshly made and looked and tasted like a premade dip from a supermarket. The eggs tasted overly of vinegar. My partners full English was not much better with dry black pudding and under cooked tomatoes. A real shame as everything else about the hotel was good.
