Disliked: The view of the Marina was beautiful and closer to restaurants.

Liked: The hotel is in a fun place and there is excellent public transport - ferry to the city (connected to train to the airport) and buses to reach mountain attractions or shops. All the different food choices are downstairs, there is car rental and some shops in walking distance. Rooms are big and comfortable. Staff is very helpful, allowed us to check in earlier. We did not use the breakfast.

Stay for location - not...

Liked: The location was perfect - in the Lonsdale Quay market.
Disliked: Lumpy uncomfortable pillows, having to pay for parking ($30/day) when that was not disclosed in the booking. No restaurant - only coffee & granola bars for breakfast. (It’s in a market with bakeries - you think they could have provided muffins, etc. ).Descriptions of rooms led us to believe there would be a sea or city view - we looked out in a walkway leading to the Seabus. No chair/couch for relaxing in - only a desk chair. Room was dated - dark and dreary.

A very old Motel in...

Liked: We slept, our car wasn't broken in to, and we only stayed one night.
Disliked: The area is garbage. This is a very low budget hotel but quite pricey for what you get. Maybe that's just the way it is in Vancouver. We were shocked at how run-down everything is.
