The Spotlight on The Longleaf Hotel

Retro-Modern Stay in the Heart of Raleigh

The Longleaf Hotel blends vintage charm with modern comfort in downtown Raleigh, just a short stroll from the city’s top music venues and cultural hotspots. This 2-star boutique hotel offers guests a laid-back, stylish atmosphere with free private parking, a welcoming on-site bar, and a spacious outdoor terrace that’s perfect for pre-show hangouts or post-concert wind-downs.
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Museum of Natural Sciences and within easy reach of the State Capitol and downtown nightlife. With free WiFi, 24-hour front desk service, and a concierge who knows the local music scene, it’s an ideal base for concert-goers looking for both convenience and character.

Why Concert-goers love it

The Longleaf Hotel puts you right near the city’s top venues—most are walkable or a short ride away. Late-night returns are easy with 24-hour front desk staff ready to help and a relaxed vibe that welcomes you back no matter the hour. Rooms are well sound-insulated for a quiet night’s sleep after a loud gig, and the no-stress check-out at 12 PM is perfect for sleeping in after a late show.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want to be close to the action without blowing the budget
  • Solo travelers catching a must-see artist and looking for friendly staff and safe surroundings
  • Couples planning a weekend of music and city exploring
  • Fans who want a peaceful, stylish space to relax after the show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want great design and location

Food and Drink Options

The on-site bar serves up local favorites and is great for a drink before or after concerts. While there’s no full restaurant, you’re walking distance from plenty of eateries and late-night bites in downtown Raleigh. À la carte and American breakfasts are available each morning—ideal if you’ve had a late night.

Nightlife Options

Evenings at The Longleaf feature occasional live entertainment on-site, and it’s just steps away from Raleigh’s buzzing bar scene. Whether you’re after craft cocktails, local beer, or a low-key lounge, you’ll find plenty just around the corner.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s cool mid-century design, friendly staff, and unbeatable location. Reviews praise the comfortable beds, clean rooms, and the fact that it feels like a hidden gem with a local vibe. The free parking is a major bonus for those driving in for a show.

Areas for Improvement

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so guests with lots of gear or mobility concerns might want to request a ground floor room. Some rooms are cozy in size, but still get high marks for comfort and style.
