The Long Room Hotel and Bar

Very good

Liked: Good location,friendly staff,room had everything needed.
Disliked: Toilet on the landing and all night long the air con running from downstairs kitchen,which made quite a noise. That was disturbing,but with the heat I understood the situation.

Just terrible

Liked: The staff in the bar were friendly and appeared helpful but a promised refund never arrived. The car park was handy.
Disliked: The room I booked hadn't been cleaned. I was given a different room with no toilet. The place was superficially clean but extremely run down. The place was cheap and I fully expected to compromise but bed was inexcusably terrible with springs sticking out of the mattress, the host promised a refund which has never been paid and is completely unavailable - messages never answered, phone just goes to voicemail. Definitely a place to avoid.

Liked: Comfortable bed. Friendly personnel. Good price.
Disliked: Doesn’t have fan nor A/C (fans are cheap and there’s space in the rooms to hace them). Doesn’t offer luggage store.

Liked: Service friendly, bar downstairs nice
Disliked: The hotel room had bed bugs and so I chose not to sleep. No chair either. The shower is pointed directly at the shower door with a non-adjustable head, getting myself wet as well as the carpet in the room. Also Wi-Fi was excruciatingly alow

Liked: Can’t fault it at all for the price. Clean. Much better than expected. Would stay again. Water temp in shower was fine, easy check in and out. Walking distance to tooting broadway station.
Disliked: It was hot in the room as there wasn’t any ventilation and it was a heatwave
