Budget hotel but comfortable

Liked: Was staying here as I was working nearby. The hotel is what it is, budget rooms above a pub. It isn’t located in a ‘tourist’ area but is handy for the Tooting Broadway Underground Station (only about a 5 minute walk away). The surrounding area is primarily a town centre shopping area and as such is very busy. The pub was fairly lively down below but quietened down very quickly after 11pm. The room was basic but clean and the bed (although some type of camp bed?) was comfortable. Shower was over the bath but was decent. Staff (who worked in the pub but also checked people in) were really friendly. Fair few eating places not too far away. Overall I had a comfortable stay for a decent price. If I was working down this way again I would be happy to stay again.
Disliked: Nothing negative to say really. Budget hotel very fair for the price.

Liked: Close to Tooting Broadway Undergrd. station. Room was as quiet as could be given location over a pub and alongside Mitcham Rd. we stayed there previously and would stay again. Ideal to see our grown-up child.

Liked: Good location for Tooting, near tube station.
Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom was small, dated and cramped. The bed was very uncomfortable, It was only a camp bed, not even a proper divan bed. The bedding was awful with two flat pillows and bobbled sheets. We had a terrible nights sleep on the bed. We could not wait to get out of this awful room and leave. One of the worst nights sleep we have ever had. We would not recommend this place to anyone, absolutely dreadful.

Liked: location was ideal for planned trip. Room warm and plenty of hot water. Dining room comfortable.
Disliked: Menu was wrongly priced. More expensive than stated - no discount given to guests - only on one occasion.
