Fantastic large Victorian-style wood panelled...

Liked: Fabulous room with Victorian style bathroom, absolutely loved it. Had a bath which was great after a long day of walking (although the hot water could have been a bit hotter). Can't fault the room. Really comfortable nights sleep.
Disliked: No decaf coffee sachets (on the whole walk only one accommodation scored on that point). :-(

Perfect for overnight stay whilst...

Liked: Character. Comfortable room. Staff very helpful.No food available but a pleasant area in the lobby with tables and chairs and staff provided crockery and cutlery for guests to eat, which was very useful as there seem to be no restaurants open on a Monday evening!
Disliked: Bathroom in need of refurbishment.

Liked: Lovely stay. Ideal location for a wedding we were attending. Pleasant staff, lovely large room. Comfortable bed. No issues at all.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Liked: Perfect location in main street with parkingHuge and very comfortable room
Disliked: No breakfast option

Basic and very noisy.

Liked: Central and large room.
Disliked: Very noisy as above the bar. They had a party until 12pm with everyone in the garden below the window. They refused to turn music down and said it was a ‘bar with rooms’ so tough.

It was an ok stay....

Liked: Beautiful old building, lovely comfortable beds. Good size room.
Disliked: Rooms need updating. Shower was not good, it was broken and leaked everywhere.Told staff on check out, didn’t seem interested or bothered at all and no apology.
