Convenient but not worth a...

Liked: It was a lovely setting. The room was comfortable overall. Very close to attractions we wanted to see. The kitchen was a great bonus so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The provided kitchen ware was just as needed. The toiletries seemed good quality though I didn't use them, my son thought they worked well. The pool was very nice. Having an indoor pool as well is a plus.
Disliked: The check-in is located on a completely different property that was not mentioned in any of my booking details. That took an extra 30 minutes to travel over there, check in, and drive back. The check in lady was real nice but then I was sent to another desk for my parking pass and got hit with a timeshare pitch (even though she said it wasn't a timeshare, it was a "rental platform", It gave me ick Worldmark vibes). I declined and she offered $200 and a weeks stay at any of their resorts. No thanks. despite mentioning it "wasn't a time share presentation" she tried hard to get me to go but after the 3rd no she let me have my pass and I went to my room. There were no linens for the pull out sofa so I called to get them replaced, no big deal. She said she would send someone to do so. After waiting an hour we called back but no answer, had to leave a message. No one ever came. My son ended up sleeping with my car blanket and towels to keep warm. I called again the next day to ask for linens and they finally sent someone later but only sent sheets they never brought a blanket

Good for the price. Not...

Liked: The price and the view. Both excellent.
Disliked: It’s dated. The grounds are not really kept. If restored properly, it would be a grand property. The cool pool was closed at the main resort. That was problematic. The pool outside our door had an indoor pool that the kids loved.

Disliked: Finding where tocheck in was difficult. You need to update your listing as it seems like part of it has been sold to another company. List of amenities is inaccurate Handrail on balcony was loose.

Pleasant

Liked: Spacious. Washer and dryer.
Disliked: Check in location was several miles from property. No note or current ph# provided on site. Had to access bookings.com to get #. Promised lake view was next to nothing. Could only see from the balcony at an angle. Fire Alarm panel alarm went off 2nd to last night at 10:15 pm. Took an hour AND had to help staff remove the door to stop the alarm. Last night it went off again at 11:15 pm. We had to call the fire department after no response over an hour later . Complained at main desk during checkout. Still no promised return call from management. We will not be recommending or staying at this property again.

Liked: Cabin location is very good. Cabin is roomy, clean, and very nice.
Disliked: Minor complaints: some things in cabin did work - oven and some of the tv remotes. Parking is adequate but very limited. Sales pitch at check-in to get "parking passes" was totally unwanted.

Very relaxing

Liked: Location was great. Maintenance was great called about remote issue. Very prompt response.
Disliked: We were told at check in we couldn't use poop that was at location and had to drive to different loaction to use pool due to how we booked our reservation which is ridiculous and was not mentioned when booking or in information. Had no pool towels.
