Great little lodge just needs...

Liked: Great location for me working, pub a very short distance from lodge and did food which was great.
Disliked: Behind every chair (4 in my room) full of cobwebs and spiders. Clearly the cleaner does not look behind or move the chairs to clean. Found 4 empty bottles of booze in a cupboard next to the bed.

Great value for money

Liked: Convenient location, very clean and great value for money
Disliked: Nobody at site until 12pm and only 1 pillow each. Other than that it was a fantastic stay and we will be returning

As expected and this was...

Liked: The Lodge is room only but there is a bar/restaurant on site which is very reasonable for food and drinks, breakfast is a 5 minute walk to the Barnby Dun farm shop which serves excellent breakfasts and I can recommend their pork pies.
Disliked: The rooms were a bit dated but were clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay

Liked: Clean room, set away from the pub so less noisy.Comfy bedsLots of tea and coffee providedPub did nice food!
Disliked: No glasses provided, no handsoapBit dated, there was a hole in the plasterboard that needs fixing, needs a bit of TLC.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sarah, in particular, really made my stay great. Apart from being really freindly she also helped me when I lost my phone by letting use her phone and also printing off directions for me.
Disliked: Nothing.
