Liked: Good location, characterful hotel, comfortable and warm
Disliked: Quite expensive, just basics provided in rooms. No bottled water, bath robes for the price.Quite dusty, not thoroughly cleaned to a high enough standard for the cost.

Liked: The staff we're really friendly and helpful, the food was excellent - from breakfast to a delicious evening meal, lovely location and atmosphere, and a beautiful beach 3mins walk from the hotel. Excellent service and I would highly recommend The Lodge to anyone visiting the area.
Disliked: not a problem for me but my partner has back issues - the bed was very soft ;-) Hardly a criticism!

Liked: Last minute booking and never stayed there before. Exceeded expectations all round. Staff were REALLY friendly, everything was really clean. Room was lovely. The bar had a lovely vibe at night. The food in the restaurant was awesome. Will be back soon. Thank so much!
