LODGE HERE - IT'S LOVELY

Liked: The Lodge is not in Hunstanton, it is in Old Hunstanton. I only state this because you might feel a bit remote from the town. However, I chose The Lodge because this is what I wanted. The distance isn't that great, I walked along the shingle beach to the town in around twenty minutes, and walked back over the top of the cliffs. The hotel is quite full of rooms, and you might translate that as meaning that rooms are on the tight size. Fair point, but I had everything I needed, and if you are just coming to sleep here you don't need a ballroom. I missed out when I arrived because I did NOT eat my evening meal here. Even though the walk on the beach to the town was a lovely thing to do, and the fish and chips in the town were great, I should have used the restaurant at The Lodge; and so should you. Breakfast was fabulous, and cooked to your order, and that's when I realised I should have had my evening meal here; the locals come for their meals here.
Disliked: The car park was full - but that's early evening diners, if you arrive before five or later in the evening there will be spaces for you.

Liked: Very comfortable room, spotless condition, super bathroom and excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Bedroom not air conditioned and the fan in the room was an essential aid to a good night's sleep.

Liked: The room (3) was amazing and so comfy. The staff were lovely and helpful. Dinner was excellent.
