Liked: Good location, plenty of parking, 2 bottles of water in the fridge
Disliked: The room was old and shabby. Large cobwebs. The handwash dispenser was broken, the drawers under the handbasin were broken with a large dead cockroach and insect detritus inside. The toilet pan was black around the edges, no toilet roll holder, had to use heat lamps for lighting - not good on a hot day- no exhaust fan. Heavily worn chipboard shelves around the fridge area. Torn fabric from the underside of the bed hanging out.

Quiet, comfortable and good price...

Liked: The Lodge is in a great location and is more than adequate for a weekend stay in Broken Hill. The pool was sparkling clean and very much needed as it was very hot. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. Comfortable at a budget price. I have previously stayed in the main part of the Lodge but thihs time was in the motel part and it was fine. Quiet and comfortable
Disliked: The rooms are predictably old and there are a few things that didn't work however the minute I brought this to the attention of the manager she did her best to resolve it. Any shortcomings were easily outweighed by the positives.
