Relaxing and fun in a...

Liked: The campus was beautiful with lots of trees and flowers. The cottages were a fun change from the ordinary hotel room, with a lovely table and chairs outside to play games or sit and read. The pool area was a nice oasis and having some food and beverage access was appreciated during a pandemic. The bikes were our favorite touch in hospitality. It was great to be able to hop on and enjoy the area by bike. Also loved seeing the dogs on campus with their families. It felt great that guests got to bring their fur babies.
Disliked: There was a sign up process for the pool on Friday and through the weekend that we weren?t informed about when we checked in on Wednesday. We wasted a day of pool play not knowing beforehand. It would have been nice to have some of the luxuries common in a non-pandemic world, but we were happy with what we did have access to!

Not sure I will return...

Liked: Booked over night with my daughter, first room was beside dog who was obviously left unattended and I asked staff to give me another room with pool asscess and they moved us upstairs with no pool acess, very disappointing
Disliked: Staff could be more accommodating as I am frequent guest to this hotel If I had brought my own barking dog we would have got better service

Exceptional

Liked: We had to getaway from the city and spend some time in nature. We stayed for a long weekend here. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was clean and nice. We really appreciated the staff working so hard to make our stay pleasant during covid. They put themselves at risk to make sure we had a nice stay. It was exactly what we needed as a short getaway from San Francisco. The hotel provides cruiser bike at no additional cost. They were super fun to ride to wineries and downtown Sonoma. The location of this property is the perfect distance from the wineries and the Sonoma square. Thank you to the staff for making out stay so awesome.

Charming resort in Sonoma

Liked: The resort is charming, rooms big, clean and modern (staying at a cottage, 1st floor), staff super friendly
Disliked: We were first guests after the Covid-19 disruption, so some facilities operated on limited capacity, esp. the pool (2.5h slots a day, we had to sign up for), and breakfast/lunch. However, given the circumstances, the staff was amazing and kept it all afloat.
