Liked: The location of The Lodge at Riverside is excellent. Being by the river is beautiful. The Lodge is close to restaurants, shops, and activities. The breakfast is great because it is a full breakfast, not just a continental breakfast. It is just what you need before heading out to the outdoor activities in the area. The wine and cheese offered in the evening, and the warm cookies also offered in the evening are both a really nice touch. We highly recommend staying at The Lodge at Riverside!

Liked: The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was great, friendly and gave good tips on where to get a great dinner.
Disliked: The “hot breakfast” was a continental breakfast without any options. Nothing we could eat with out diets.

Liked: The staff was wonderful. George went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. Poured us a glass of wine while we were checking in (it was after 5). The room was comfortable. Lots of space. Unfortunately, a herd of elephants checked into the room above us! No fault of the staff just the result of an older building. All in all, it was a very nice stay.
