Featuring two private 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf as well as a European resort-style golf clubhouse The Lodge at Flying Horse is located in Colorado Springs. Guests have access to swimming pools and the Athletic Club and Spa. Garden of the Gods is 25 minutes' drive from the lodge. Free parking is provided. Each room at The Lodge at Flying Horse offers a seating area with a 55-inch flat-screen satellite TV and an espresso/coffee maker. Guests receive 2 bottles of water per day per stay. Select rooms feature a patio with outdoor furniture and mountain or golf course views. Guests can enjoy on-site dining and happy hour at The Steakhouse which features views of the golf course Pikes Peak and the Front Range and serves steaks seafood and cocktails. The Spa at Flying Horse offers deep tissue and couples massages in addition to facials pedicures and manicures. Day spa packages are available. The Lodge at Flying Horse also features 9 indoor event spaces 3 spacious conference rooms and a boardroom. Wedding and reception facilities are also offered. Liked: The athletic club is great.
Disliked: The hotel service and amenities excluding the athletic club are equivalent to a 3 star hotel and definitely not 4.5. As such the hotel is massively overpriced.

Liked: The room was comfortable as well as the bed.
Disliked: The pricing for food was inaccurate. They don't offer dinner for Non-members they do have a high-end steak house on premises. We were shown pictures of rooms with either mountain or golf course views, which were half-truths.

Liked: Rooms are large and well appointed. Resort members and guests are courteous and quiet -- a very relaxing getaway. You can choose to be active or at your leisure. Be sure to visit the fitness center with separate pool and hot tub for adults.
Disliked: Selections on the Sunday Brunch Buffet could have been better for the price -- $--- for 2 adults including taxes & gratuity with no specialty drinks.
