Great retro fun vibe, location...

Liked: Great vibe and aesthetic! Staff was helpful and the location was perfect for what we wanted!
Disliked: Check in/out service wasn’t working so that was confusing but it was handled and taken care of!

Never stay here!!!! No Help...

Liked: nothing.......
Disliked: The most uncomfortable beds I ever laid on. It had a weird musty smell to room. Only contact was through text, No one did anything to help or even say they were sorry. I should have gone to different hotel.

Bad

Liked: We were never able to access our room so we couldn't stay here. At 3:00 (check in time) we attempted to access the key (via our phone through the app like instructed), however it wouldn't work. We called customer service and was on hold for about 2 hours and was told by the rep that she couldn't access the system to get our code (so we could get the hard key to our room) and that she was waiting on a supervisor to get back with her. 2 hours later and the rep still couldn't get us the code for the hard key, so we had no choice but to call another hotel down the street and ended up staying there instead. The night of our stay, we had a big birthday dinner celebration scheduled for 6:00pm so we ended up having to find a room somewhere else and we ended up being very late to the dinner and holding up everyone else. VERY disappointing and caused a huge inconvenience for us. There was no staff on site and that makes things very difficult. Even the next day we traveled back to the motel to speak to someone to ensure we weren't being charged (or refunded for the room). At 11:00 there was noone in the office. We had to call customer service again and was on hold for an hour, to confirm we were being refunded for the room.
Disliked: Access to staff, access to the room.

Superb

Liked: We loved the retro vibe and the location! It's situated in a quiet neighborhood just across the bridge from all of the action in the Historic District and less than 10 minutes from the beach, so you get the best of both worlds. There are restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, as well.
Disliked: It's an older property that has been revamped, which we really appreciate. It's probably not a good fit for somebody who requires modern luxury.

Digital hotel with a nice...

Liked: Nice little place walking to downtown historic was our favorite and the pool was perfect. They have great coffee and a water filter to refill your water bottles. Everything else was nice.
Disliked: Checking in digitally is a learning curve.

A miserable stay at a...

Liked: The location is great and the accommodations are fair.
Disliked: There is no staff, so there is no one to handle noise complaints or maintenance issues. There was a party going for 12 hours straight through the night with loud music and rowdy guests. Nothing was done to shut it down. My children and I could not sleep the entire night. After a sleepless night, the next morning I tried to leave the hotel room, and the deadbolt on the door was rusted stuck and the door would not open. I tried for 45 minutes to get the door open, the windows are also bolted shut, so we were locked in our room for almost an hour I had to use my toothbrush and a ballpoint pen to budge the lock open. I called for maintenance and no one ever came to help. There has been zero resolve or anything offered to make up for this stressful inconvenience. The manager is unresponsive. I will absolutely never book at this motel again.

Perfect place for a girls...

Liked: The vintage look and feel. The pool area was cute! Nicely decorated rooms. Very close to downtown St Augustine, the beach and great restaurants.
Disliked: Narrow staircase bringing up luggage.
