Liked: staff were friendly
Disliked: the room is not good, i feel like tehre are bed bugs bec the bed is itchy and you can hear the noise and the smell from other room

good little place will be...

Liked: the staff were great..the landing and stairway was clean and fresh..the room was clean and beds were comfy. The room does need tlc but you can tell the new owners are in the process of upgrading..its close to the beach and bars cafes etc ,all in all a good place in the process of getting better
Disliked: needs a good bit of tlc

Don’t waste your money here

Liked: The location and Dominic tried to help us as much as he could
Disliked: The hotel Was terrible unclean mouldy wallpaper coming off also smells off dog piss

Very good

Liked: The location was right at the heart of the town, with very easy access to the tram or road to the Great orm.Loved the rustic feel of the place, gave it character.
Disliked: Just a few minor things were missing but the staff were very helpful in my needs.I'll still return when I'm back in the area again.

Ignore previous poor reviews about...

Liked: Brilliantly central location hotel between the tram station, pier and main street. Everything is nearby.Staff (Dominic) was very polite and couldn't have done more to enhance our stay.New ownership & management really trying to turn things around for this once unloved & dated hotel
Disliked: Previously poor reviews aren't reflective of the new owners who are trying very hard to turn this business around. It's a shame they have to carry over the previous owners ratings as its not reflective of their service and plans in the future.We stayed on the top floor deluxe family room which was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It could well be that the other rooms are in a less desirable condition, but give the new owners time and a chance while they refurbish everything up to standard
