Will be better when renovations...
Liked: The location and the staff were good. They allowed us to check in early and put our five room party all on the same floor.
Disliked: It’s under renovation. The pool was unavailable. As we have stayed in many hotels, when the pool hasn’t been available there have been special tickets to a near by hotel to use their pool. They didn’t provide any such tickets.

Disliked: We got a hotel the ac until was broken and the faucet in the restroom was leaking bad. They couldn’t accommodate us to a similar room to the one they gave us in the first place with a balcony view.

I was not happy about...
Liked: I liked that it was being remodeled and it looked fresh and clean.
Disliked: It was difficult to get to the restaurants because it’s hard to find parking. We did not receive room service for 3/4 days because I didn’t know upon check in that we had to tell them which days we wanted clean towels or have someone throw our trash. I spoke to Lillian and I explained that we had just come from the La Jolla Marriott and we got room service. I think if I book a room in a Marriott that now I have to ask what their policy is about room service. I feel if you carry a brand name that my expectation is if I put the placard outside my door that I want room service. Also, we were on the 15th floor and I had just stepped into the shower when the hotel decided to do a test. We heard over the intercom to evacuate and not take the elevator. We got to the 8th floor before a worker informed us that it was a test. I spoke to Lillian, the manager, who said she would take off $300.00 for the parking, but I was only credited $160.00. I know that I will not stay in this hotel again. The construction was not finished so there was not a restaurant or fitness center on the site. I was not happy with the explanation that some Marriotts are independently owned and their policies differ.

Liked: That i had a nice view and it was very roomy for two of us to stay for the 6 days ..
Disliked: We were told to move to another floor after staying there for 2 nights .. Even when i tried to understand why the manager (male) was quite rude and impatient as i had to tell him to stop talking so i could talk .. not very good for your front desk may i say .. he did offer us at first $40 recoup but then the $100 due to us staying so long .. This was still not good enough as the second room we were put into had trouble with the internet , the view was no where as nice and we had to move so much luggage and set up again …. We booked this for the length of time so we didn’t have these issues so i am not happy at all with the service .. Also on your website there is misleading photos to say we would have a pool there and I was quite shocked at there being no pool ….
