Exceptional

Liked: We loved the spaciousness and quality of the room, the bedding etc. The breakfast was excellent, very efficient, rarely waited, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The location was brilliant. We really enjoyed the dinner we ate in the restaurant.
Disliked: Not enough bar staff on a busy evening, leading to queuing and long wait for drinks/food

Liked: It was really nice place to live very neat and clean every thing was fantastic, I have been travelling around the world but this place was top of the list

Great place to stay in...

Liked: The explorer room was a very comfortable, well decorated, very clean and in the perfect location with its own entrance to walk anywhere around Grasmere.
Disliked: A bit pricey, £180 per night

Really enjoyed our stay at...

Liked: Excellent location. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and comfy bed.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like. Couldn’t fault the hotel.

Very good

Liked: Grasmere is idyllic and The Little Inn offered a comfortable spot to stay and explore it. We enjoyed the use of the pool and sauna at the 'sister' hotel across the street as well as morning breakfast.
