Great stay, would come back...

Liked: Lovely old coaching Inn. Very central location. Excellent large twin bedded room, very clean, comfortable and spacious.
Disliked: Long walk up and down to room which was at the back. Shower tap very stiff. No breakfast offered but plenty of good places to go to.

Dont bother. I would not...

Liked: In the heart of old township with lovely pub next door
Disliked: Run down old empty and lonely old hotel seen better days. Breakfast cancelled. Three flights of stairs to room with two suitcases [not recommended for old people] but we are lucky and still fit for oldies. No lifts so beware. Little parking available for $5.00 but full so park on the street.

Poor.

Liked: The location
Disliked: We booked bed and breakfast and this hotel does not offer breakfast anymore. We were not notified of this before or on arrival and only found out when we asked what time breakfast was. Staff were unconcerned and people arriving to find this out is clearly a common occurrence. The hotel is run down and tired looking.

Liked: Location was very good rooms were clean & tidy.
Disliked: We all booked bed & breakfast but got to hotel to be notified that they didn't do breakfast anymore so had to find somewhere for breakfast in morning. Parts of hotel look dated.

Very shabby

Liked: Very central. Plenty of parking at £5 a day as advertised.
Disliked: Absolutely no facilities as advertised. No food no bar no anything. Just a rather overpriced room in a run down hotel. I have found cheaper and better in central India. Hallways incredibly smelly . Felt very unfriendly to be there even though it's a very historic building. Incredibly bad value for what was offered. Staff were smiling but obviously didn't want to be there as much as there customers. If it was a 1 night in a £50 B&B I would of said OK but over £75 a night with no breakfast it was awful. Tired and run down all the way to the 50's.
