Great stay at this hotel; definitely recommend this hotel.

Disliked: Seemed a 3 star hotel due to a number of smaller issues such as interior decoration and carpeting looking tired, fruit juice not cold, coffee lukewarm.

Disliked: Air con / heating did not work.Bells from cathedral start at 7am just be warned.Basic could do with a refresh Car park very very full!

Comfortable clean hotel opposite Lincoln...

Liked: Staff were lovely, great location opposite the Cathedral, (at the top of a steep hill or steps) and out room was very comfortable with a beautiful garden area shared between 3 hotel rooms. I would return to the Lincoln hotel
Disliked: The coffee at breakfast wasn't great but the rest of the breakfast selection was lovely

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for a visit to the castle. Room was spacious but required some tlc. Food at dinner and breakfast was really good
Disliked: Room was spacious but dated and was probably in need of a deep clean and decor and bathroom fittings updating

Lovely staff but place is...

Liked: Staff are really good - helpful and friendly without being overbearing. Gluten free and vegetarian options were good. Views at the front are great.
Disliked: Place is a bit shabby. I was in a deluxe room but the bath panel was cracked, sealant coming away, paint peeling in bedroom and things just generally looking a bit tatty. Everything was functional though. Views from the accessible rooms are rubbish - no accessible room with view of the cathedral.

Liked: Location perfect and staff amazing. This was my second visit this summer and back again next month because the staff have been amazing. Was here for a funeral and they went above and beyond to make matters easy for us.
Disliked: It is a little worn and outdated in places, but you don’t care about that when you have a cathedral view balcony!
