The Lincoln Hotel

Great stay at this hotel; definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked: Good service; lovely breakfast; nice room; handy for all the sights.
Disliked: Not a lot.

Over priced for what it...

Liked: Location was excellent. Staff also very good.
Disliked: Room and hotel needs some well overdue maintenance and updating.

Great stay in an excellent...

Liked: The location is excellent! great view of the cathedral from our deluxe balcony room. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water & great towels. Breakfast was buffet style which was delicious. The staff were friendly & helpful. Would stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing

Disappointing, didn’t really feel that...

Disliked: It wasn’t very clean , bath panel was broken, the back of the door in the bathroom had wood missing , windows in room very dirty , no hairdryer in room as advertised, there was a wedding going on, came out of our room and nearly fell over a drunken bridesmaid laid on floor right outside our room, then later her and someone else hammering & kicking on door as couldn’t get in, constantly trying to open the interconnecting door between our rooms

Liked: Location was perfect. Staff brilliant.
Disliked: It was my wedding day and the shower broke on the morning of. Staff were helpful and we were able to us the bathroom in a room next door. Very dated decor and tired looking rooms. I feel we paid for the view. For £200 a night, I don’t feel the room warranted such a high price.

Great location, extremely overpriced for...

Liked: The location.
Disliked: Being one of the more expensive hotels in Lincoln it was disappointing to see that it doesn't look like the hotel has seen any love since it was built. The room was tired and very dated. You had to pay extra for parking and the room was really warm and stuffy.The lift felt like it could fail at any minute and had seen better days.For the price of this room a lot more was expected and you are literally paying for the location near the cathedral, that's all this place has going for it.
