Location amazing but the room...

Disliked: Our room was on the second floor and unfortunately the lading / hall smelt of urine? Our room 226 also had dated furniture that needs replacing, the dark brown makes the room feel dark and confined. Although I appreciate our room was a standard room it didn’t meet the standard expected for £94, I would assume the location reflects the cost rather than the standard of the room, I am so sad to give a poor review but genuinely expected more given the stunning location.

Liked: L99ks better on the inside than outside. Dissapointed to be charged seperate for the parking but maybe i didnt read the small print.Romance package was worth it with bar drinks tokens.

Disliked: Property was very overpriced. The hotel is very dated and well below expectations from the photos.

Great location and breakfast but...

Liked: Great breakfast choices. Close to the cathedral. The few members of staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The decorations are very 1980s and the hotel needs updating! The room was dark and old fashioned. The price of the hotel room and car park charge didn't impress! There was a lot of noise late at night, probably from the wedding party, but I realise that wasn't the hotel's fault.
