Liked: Location excellent and a quiet spot for us to spend the night. Well presented and furnished room, very spacious. Clean and modern furnishings. Breakfast very good and prepared quickly. Staff very friendly and helpful - especially Mandy. Thanks!
Disliked: There were a couple of small maintenance snags that were noticeable but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. Room was clean and well presented very modern but showed some signs of wear.

Probably nice when there isn’t...

Liked: Beautiful setting, very nice breakfast.
Disliked: It is a little dated and grubby in places but beds are comfy. Don’t bother wasting your money if there is a function on, you’re unable to use the facilities such as the beer garden etc. If a function is on (wedding or any such party) the musics is very loud, wouldn’t have been an issue if we could have used the facilities as we wouldn’t have gone to bed at 10.30, as it was we couldn’t watch the TV due to the music from the disco. We were told a function was happening but not that we couldn’t use the facilities. A shame we wasted a child free night here.

Excellent value in an easily...

Liked: Room was clean and well appointed, pleasant temperature and comfortable. Nice to have a fridge in the room.
Disliked: No plug socket near a mirror made it hard to dry hair and the bed was a little soft for my liking. My room was on the ground floor which was fine, but whilst the two large windows could be opened, the smaller one at the top was locked which was tricky for overnight ventilation, but otherwise nothing to find fault with.

Disliked: The room was uncomfortably warm. Would benefit from a fan in the room or adjust the window fastening

Liked: Room good, bathroom tiny. Bed very comfortable but fridge in room kept me awake at night. It would be useful to have a note reminding customers not to slam doors late at night when they return to the hotel. Receptionist excellent, made a breakfast tray for us so we could leave early and brought it to our room.
