Clean and comfortable!
Liked: Very clean and just far enough from the center of Dahlonega to be quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: No meat with breakfast. 😉

We wound up not staying...
Liked: The place seemed recently renovated and the tall ceilings made the room feel large.
Disliked: The air conditioner could not keep the room cool and the bed was way too soft. There were very rowdy people in the cabins up the hill.

The Limelight is a quaint...
Liked: The Inn was quaint and lived up to expectations. Cozy room and guest house was awesome. The two ladies serving and preparing breakfast were friendly and attentive. Food was awesome. Coffee was hot. Bed was comfy and shower was large and roomy.
Disliked: The only semi complaint I have about our stay if that the propane tank for the fire pit was empty.

I would recommend and stay...
Liked: The cleanliness, location, and breakfast.
Disliked: The walls were a little thin. You could hear your neighbors walking and talking. People were respectful though. I would stay there again.

Nice property but no staff...
Liked: The Inn is located out of town just off a busy road. We were the only people staying the night in mid August. We requested Room 1 as it was the farthest from the road and seemed to be the quietest. There was no one around on a Sunday so we had to let ourselves into the room. We have had issues previously with self-entry numerical keypads in different countries so were a bit apprehensive, but fortunately there were no issues entering the room. The room was spacious and nicely furnished with nice balcony. The bathroom was very nice with a walk-in shower. There was good light coming into the room from the balcony windows. We saw a deer in the morning from our room which was nice.We booked Montaluce winery (9 min drive) online for dinner after we arrived as the restaurants in Dahlonega were all full and didn't allow advance bookings. We enjoyed our dinner (food good, service erratic) on the balcony at Montaluce so worth considering.
Disliked: There was a broken handle on the bathroom door which someone had clearly attempted to fix as the wood around the lock had been chipped away. The door would not close and as it was not hanging level, it swung open. we had to bring a chair from the room to keep the door closed. We contacted the owners who said they would sort it out, although it was hard to understand why this hadn't already been fixed as it was evident there was a problem. As the property was unattended we were given a code to access the breakfast room to self serve breakfast. We tried the code 3 times on the front door and once on the rear door. No luck. Our issues with keypad locks had returned! As we needed to depart promptly we pondered giving up on breakfast. We reluctantly tried to call the owners but for some reason the call wouldn't connect (we are from overseas). As a last resort we emailed the owners via Booking.com who to their credit responded quickly and advised that we had been given the incorrect code. Frustrating! When we finally got into the breakfast room the breakfast that had been left for us was worth the perseverance. It contained homemade granola, a bread type pudding, fruit, juice yoghurt, coffee and other treats. We paid $240 for the room. This is a nice unique property with a great breakfast but the fact that it appears to be totally self-service on certain days, means there is no one to deal with issues on site and we really could have done without the extra hassle.
