Wouldn’t recommend room 242 in...

Liked: Good location, excellent meal in the restaurant and helpful and friendly staff
Disliked: Our room (242) was distinctly tired and in some parts dirty. A light was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom and the pedal of the bin in the bathroom was filthy. The curtains were in part hanging off the rail. Having had a look in other rooms on our way to reception we got the distinct impression we’d been given an inferior room. One of the mattresses had to be changed as it was worn out (which was done on the day we complained) and all in all we thought the room way overpriced.

Liked: Lovely quiet part of Lerwick close to waters edge yet next to airport bus stop and short walk from harbour. Very relaxing with helpful staff
Disliked: Misty weather.

Liked: The view from the hotel restaurant is excellent.
Disliked: The heatinfg system was a bit outdated.

Liked: Fabulous dinner, lovely seat by window with seaview. Food impressive.Very responsive to concerns about allocated room.
Disliked: Room very cramped, tiny window, needed cleaning and some maintenance. Bit disappointing considering cost of 2 night stay

Liked: Been before, bit dated in some areas but all clean and tidy, staff excellent, food very good well cooked and presented by staff. Bedroom large, bathroom good and modern, great shower/bath
Disliked: Only thing didn’t like think my room was about as far as you could get from reception bar etc. However got my steps up!!

Disliked: Rooms abit small.Bathroom very small and shower had bad water pressure.In room phone not connected.
