Our first visit to Leland...

Nice place but my room...

Liked: The staff was great and the bar and restaurant was good. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: I had a room over the golf course and the morning noise horrible. Also the workers or customers were listening to music on a radio early.

The Perfect Luxury Lodge Vacation

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at The Leland Lodge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Brian, the Manager, went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The bedding is luxury sheets and down comforters with very comfortable mattress. The rooms are quiet. The food is exceptional. The location was perfect. A five minute walk to main street to shops and restaurants. There is a beautiful, sandy beach on Lake Leelanau a five minute walk the other side of the inn. The Leelanau Bike Trail, The Sleeping Bear Heritage Bike Trail, and The Betsie River Bike trail are all a short short away.

Liked: After visiting over 40 years- every single feature was excellent. The bikes were espeially great- Still one of my favorite hotels in my world travels

Liked: Staff is extremely friendly, pleasant and accomodating. Went out of their way to assist with an issue outside the lodging experience (car-releated) that helped us a great deal. Many thanks!

Wonderful summer stay!

Liked: I did not know they offered any breakfast (which it was a pleasant surprise). However, I would advertise it as complementary coffee and pastries, (fruit and yogurt and cold cereal) no warm/hot food or toast. They do offer 24-hour access to complementary refreshments for overnight guests, which is amazing.
Disliked: I don't think there is much to do about this, but the room where we stayed it was easy to hear the next room's tv (probably they could hear ours too) and some talking, which it was a little weird, but not a big deal. I would definitely go back to the Leland Lodge just because it is a lovely place.
