Accomodating

Liked: The staff were accommodating, they let me in the room earlier due to me and my family attending a wedding. Would reckon the rooms
Disliked: The bar area was closed for refurb but we wasn't made aware of this before we arrived, so a little disappointed.

Brilliant stay and hosts

Liked: Lovely room, nice and clean and tidy, friendly staff, will visit again as didn’t have time to sample the food and the entire area

Very good

Liked: Location good. Interesting old building. Good breakfast. Lots of local restaurants and also walks.
Disliked: Workman arrived to put scaffolding up at our bedroom window at 8am. But staff at reception really apologetic (they hadn't been aware they were coming that day) and we were given a discount. Hopefully the external paintwork will all but much better if we return there.

Lovely short break at The...

Liked: The staff and owners were just wonderful. So friendly. The room was gorgeous. And squeaky clean. Food was well cooked and beautifully presented. The White Horse exceeded our expectations.
Disliked: Nothing.

Perhaps partly our fault for...

Liked: Not to be published. Unfortunately, having driven 6 hours to get there, we had to cancel as they don’t allow our tiny toy poodle in the bedroom
Disliked: Perhaps our fault, as we thought the venue was pet friendly, but it wasn’t.

Welcome, comfortable stay.

Liked: Very friendly, efficient staff. Katie was great!Free bottled water.Nespresso coffee machine.Great shower.Very good food.Secure bike accommodation in cellar.
Disliked: More variety for breakfast.Better cask ales - Wadsworth's was off; Greene King Pale is, frankly, rubbish.

Very good base to visit...

Liked: We loved the pub and had a super meal. Very good quality and price. Staff were lovely. Room was good but single beds very small. One night was fine.
Disliked: Beds too small for us.
