Liked: Staff were wonderful! Room was lovely and had everything I needed. Very comfy bed. Free parking right outside was a bonus. Electric sockets next to bed which so many places don’t have.
Disliked: Only thing was 10am checkout which is a bit early.

Nice, but could have been...

Liked: Great comfortable, clean room with coffee and tea making facilities. Location is great for visiting Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa, which are both 2o mins away. Nice breakfast, helpful owners.
Disliked: Parking was hit and miss as other people using the allocated 4/5 parking bays who were not staying at the pub accommodation. So, we did have to park on the busy road twice over the two night stay and then come and move the car. Also, we had to use the shower facilities for both nights we were staying for staff upstairs on the premises and take all our shower kit due to our shower in our room not working, it was scalding hot. We would have burnt ourselves if not tested first. Initially owners thought we couldn't work it properly and then tested thhe shower in our room themselves and realised after the steam coming off the shower and not able to put your hand under that a broken thermostat to control the water is the likely cause.The location is on a busy road, so you hear the road traffic.

Accomodating

Liked: The staff were accommodating, they let me in the room earlier due to me and my family attending a wedding. Would reckon the rooms
Disliked: The bar area was closed for refurb but we wasn't made aware of this before we arrived, so a little disappointed.

Brilliant stay and hosts

Liked: Lovely room, nice and clean and tidy, friendly staff, will visit again as didn’t have time to sample the food and the entire area
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: Location good. Interesting old building. Good breakfast. Lots of local restaurants and also walks.
Disliked: Workman arrived to put scaffolding up at our bedroom window at 8am. But staff at reception really apologetic (they hadn't been aware they were coming that day) and we were given a discount. Hopefully the external paintwork will all but much better if we return there.
