This country inn is set in Little Hayfield overlooking Lantern Pike Hill in the Peak District National Park. It offers a traditional pub dating from 1792 a restaurant and rooms with countryside views. Rooms with attached bathroom at The Lantern Pike Inn feature mid-18th century architecture. All have a flat-screen TV tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. No dogs are allowed in the bedrooms but are welcome in the bar/restaurant and gardens. A full English cooked or continental breakfast is served with cereals toast and tea or freshly ground coffee. The pub Little Hayfield's only entry in the Good Pub Guide offers a roaring fire traditional cuisine real ales and fine wines. Perfect stay

Liked: Perfect stay! Mark and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect for lots of walks. Mark recommended a perfect walk. The food was amazing. Breakfast was perfect, we felt like royalty. We fully enjoyed our stay, highly recommend, and we will definitely be back again.

Little Gem

Liked: Great location for walking. Lovely comfy beds with plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms. Really clean bathroom. Restaurant served great food and the breakfast was big and delicious. The staff were all lovely and Mark was a great host. Thanks everyone...

Liked: It was an ideal location to be based to go for a couple of days walking. Food was excellent, all locally sourced. Mark,the owner, was brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. Hoping to go back again at some point

Our Stay at Lantern Pike...

Liked: From the minute we arrived we were welcomed. It was like being part of a family. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We ate here each evening food was lovely.Mark the owner is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a great job alongside running the business and interacting with his customers with his cheerful funny personality.
