The Lanes Hotel

The woman and man that met us were friendly and so helpful, directing us to a great restaurant with very reasonable prices! The history of the hotel is evident and I felt comfortable staying at that lovely place.

Liked: The close knit working relationship was evident throughout our stay.
Disliked: Nope, nothing bad.

Decent, clean and tidy hotel...

Liked: The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and actually smelt real nice. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful and chatty. The rooms were bright clean and airy. The bathroom had a little vanity box with some items which helped such as a little shaver and emery board for the missus. The hotel felt safe and wasn't too noisy. The lift wasn't working but we didnt care about this. In fact I vaguely remember a email saying it wasn't working but we didnt really care that we had to use the stairs. The location is good for the beach and the town.
Disliked: Limited parking but not the hotels problem, there was 5 spots out the front but this aint down to the hotel I guess as its first come, first serve. Apart from that its a good hotel and worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel. It seemed a little expensive for 1 night @ £207 for a couple, but I woukd get a direct price here when visiting Brighton again.
