Liked: The rooms are very chic and clean. The lobby is a great place to order a bottle of wine and hang out. It's very close to EVERYTHING you want to do in Solvang. And parking is easy.
Disliked: Wish the lobby bar was open a little bit later!

Very poor

Liked: The room was so loud and the gardener was right outside our door with a leaf blower at 9 am

It could be a better...

Liked: The location is super, center of the city, although the city is small and you can almost walk from most of the inns and hotels to the market place.Room was clean and bed was comfy.
Disliked: I am disappointed from Booking.com , usually when I get a room from this app I get a better room. Clearly they have better rooms at The Landsby but Room 21 is one the worst. The room was super noisy, the room insulation is poor (I assume all rooms are like this), we were hearing pipe noise all the time anyone use restroom.There was an engine running close by our room and every now and then there was a disturbing noise.Room was near trash bins and in the morning before 9 you hear a lot of noise from emptying them.All core purpose of coming to Solvang is to have a peaceful getaway. I am disappointed.Room was repainted poorly on the ceiling and there was some dirty paints on the restroom walls.

Mediocre place

Liked: The location of the premises is nice, but our room was very disappointing due to cleanliness and noise. The nightstands were dusty, and we found a lot of dust, spider webs, and dead bugs behind the headrest. It seems like that area was never cleaned. When I brought this up to the front desk, they only said they would inform management and offered no other solutions. The same problems occurred at the restaurant. The food was mediocre, and after a poor dining experience—where we returned two dishes and barely ate one because it was so bad—they only took off the returned dish from the bill, thinking that would make up for the bad experience. In my opinion, the management lacks skills, the staff seems untrained, and the quality is low, despite a nice appearance. I will not be returning.
