Not as expected, below standard

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: £300 a night so expected a better standard, 4 couples staying in 4 rooms. All 4 stated rooms not very clean, one accidentally dropped something under bed and said ‘ don’t check’ as really dirty under theirs. We put clothes on shelves in wardrobes, when pulling out the clothes were covered in dust. Housekeeping every other day only. Breakfast very poor, limited options and long waits for kitchen to replenish.

Liked: The superior room was a decent size.
Disliked: This hotel was ok,but I expected more for the price charged. The room wasn't too clean,lots of rubbish under bed.

Expensive for the overall quality...

Liked: Great location, easy walking distance to metro and city centre. Breakfast was good also.
Disliked: Room was a bit tired and not immaculately clean. Bathroom was very small, no room to move around in at all.

Lovely stay, would recommend!

Liked: Lovely hotel, very clean inside and out. We had a triple bedroom for 3 ladies and it was perfect for our 2 night stay. Bathroom is very small but we didn’t find this a problem. We were able to sleep with the window open as it was lovely and quiet at night and we were very kindly given breakfast with our stay, only had it once on the last day. Usual continental breakfast but it was nice, thank you Lancaster! The reception staff and cleaners we spoke to were all very nice and helpful.Tram stop seconds away from the hotel so very easy getting to different areas of the city without being right in the middle of it all.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like!
