Superb

Liked: The staff's attention was excellent. Very helpful. Beautiful hotel.
Disliked: The windows of our room were overlooked by all the surrounding flats. Had to shut the curtains when dressing etc. Not a huge issue but maybe look at reflective film on the outside. Was the only reason we haven't given a 10.

A great place to stay...

The best hotel experience you...

Liked: I booked this hotel for my son and fiance on the eve of their wedding. The hotel went above and beyond what was expected with a suite upgrade, a celebratory cake, a voucher for the restaurant and they even brought breakfast to the room as they were getting ready for the wedding. The suite was so beautiful x
Disliked: It was an exceptional stay, absolutely nothing could have been better!

Liked: An oasis of tranquility close to tower bridge, the south bank and many places of interest. Well appointed rooms and a superb bar and restaurant.

Sad lack of warmth.

Liked: The Senior Classroom (201) was a lovely room with a view of the Shard and a very interesting neighbour in the nearby apartments.
Disliked: Contrary to other reviews, we found the staff preoccupied and not very helpful. Its not an easy entrance to the hotel, and no one was around to help with luggage or to welcome arrivals.

Unique boutique hotel rooms in...

Liked: Very generously sized room, lovely decor and furnishings throughout. Heated toilet seat and heated bathroom mirror! Lovely deep roll top bath. Extremely comfortable bed.
Disliked: Window blinds let in light at the sides in the morning, so were not full blackout if you wanted to sleep in. Bathroom toiletries provided were only a very small bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, fiddly to open and plastic waste, they could install refillable dispensers instead.
