Hotel Description
Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Center has a stunning location on the banks of the River Shannon. It is 12 mi from Limerick and Nenagh and just off the N7. The hotel with its restaurant and bar overlooks the linked towns of Ballina and Killaloe. Well-known sights include the 13-arch bridge and 13th-century cathedral. The towns offer access to the Shannon Waterway. The Arra Mountains of North Tipperary and Mount Bernagh of Clare form the hotel's setting. The leisure center has swimming pools a hot tub and a 120-foot water slide. There is also a gym sauna steam room aerobics studio and a supervised creche. Excellent hotel

Liked: Staff are excellent, food was really good and everything very clean and well maintained.
Disliked: Rooms are on the small side with no chair for sitting except for a stool

Great hotel and amazing location

Liked: Staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was exceptional down by the water .
Disliked: Tv wasn’t connected to internet so we couldn’t watch Netflix. Breakfast room is spacious with great views but the actual area for the buffet was very small in comparison and rather crammed.

Lovely staff, room and location...

Liked: Room and location Checking in was very busy. Even though we arrived at 1500 the room wasn’t ready. We wereTold to have a drink at bar and that check in was between 1500-1600 however the confirmation stated check in was from 1500.
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit chaotic with lots of people bumping off each other. However the staff were great and really tried their best.
