Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Center has a stunning location on the banks of the River Shannon. It is 12 mi from Limerick and Nenagh and just off the N7. The hotel with its restaurant and bar overlooks the linked towns of Ballina and Killaloe. Well-known sights include the 13-arch bridge and 13th-century cathedral. The towns offer access to the Shannon Waterway. The Arra Mountains of North Tipperary and Mount Bernagh of Clare form the hotel's setting. The leisure center has swimming pools a hot tub and a 120-foot water slide. There is also a gym sauna steam room aerobics studio and a supervised creche. Guests can use the leisure facilities for free.

Waterslide fun

Liked: Came for the pool it was great. Nice rooms, friendly staff amazing breakfast. Anything you wanted for breakfast it was awesome!
Disliked: Someone charged drinks to my room, that was weird- they took care of it but just a little unnerving. And the hot tub isn't hot- its a warm pool

Wonderful start to our Kerry...

Liked: An unexpected free upgrade ensured our stay was special. Great view from the terrace of the river, very large room with comfy bed, great shower and bath, onsite restaurant and free use of spa and swimming pool. Marvellous.
Disliked: Everything was excellent.

Incredible lakeside view from room....

Liked: Setting of the room right on the lake was incredible. Staff were excellent. Great for food intolerances like gluten and dairy. Pool facilities were exceptional
