Great little place to stay,...

Liked: Lovely and warm in winter, clean and tidy had everything we needed for a little family on an overnight stopover!

Liked: This is a small but very comfortable motel. We really appreciate that it’s dog-friendly, which made it possible for us to bring our dog along on the trip. The bed was clean and very comfortable. We’d be happy to come back again with our family next time.

Liked: I stayed in the studio, which is around the back of the property It is private, it had a good-sized bathroom, and there are tea and coffee making facilities in the studio. There is a heating panel in the room which was essential for keeping the room warm - it was very cool and wet weather during my one night stay here. Keep in mind this was a one-night stay enroute to another destination.
Disliked: I couldn't park my car by the studio, it had to remain parked out the front . In the studio are two single beds, not very high. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the beds were both like children's sized beds. One double bed would be better, wsoecialky for an adult occupant. The studio room was warm enough with the panel heater, but the bathroom was freezing, so I slept with the bathroom door open to allow heat to go in there, too. There were two odd paintings on the walls, one in the studio and one in the bathroom, not really pictures becoming to motel accommodation rated 3-4 stars. . The picture in the bathroom was a male portrait that felt like it was staring at you in the bathroom - I put a cover over it. 😊 Further to note: if it is wet weather, you are having to walk over a grassed area to get to the studio, not ideal if you have a suitcase with wheels. I felt the studio would be appropriate accommodation for children or teenagers, especially with the two single bed set-up, that are not really an adult size. There are no views from the studio except into the lawned garden area that you have to walk across to get the studio , but as it's an area that can be used by others, you would want to keep your curtain drawn for privacy.

Liked: It was s very cute room, just perfect for us. It was warm and had everything we needed.
Disliked: The paving stones outside got slippery with the frost.

Handy, reasonably priced stay in...

Liked: Location, style, and pet friendly. It was a warm, spacious unit. The shower was fabulous! We appreciated the luggage storage so bags were up off the ground.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.
