Liked: This hotel has a Caribbean Island type of vibe. I did not feel like I was in Florida. The resort is family friendly and the staff were welcoming. My family and I stayed in a one bedroom King Suite and the amenities in the room were great; it was like having a mini apartment. I loved having a Keurig machine to make my morning coffee. I will definitely return when I visit Florida again.
Disliked: The prices for renting the cabanas and umbrellas on the beach are expensive, especially if you’re spending a couple of days.

A nice family location.

Liked: The location was beautiful. The pool was nice for the whole family and the live music made swimming and lounging fun.
Disliked: This location is tucked away, requiring a car ride (uber ride, etc.) to do anything outside of the property. They have everything you could need on the property, but limits the variety of options if you want to explore other shopping or dining.

Decent but

Liked: We were not very impressed with the breakfast. Very expensive, and not a lot of choices to choose from.
Disliked: Beds are too hard. I woke up with back pain every morning.

Perfect stay in Ft Lauderdale

Liked: The amenities here are great. The beach is huge and clean. The pool was fun for my daughter to play in. Overall, a really wonderful stay at Lago Mar!
