Fifteen miles east of York The Kilnwick Percy Resort and Golf Club is set among a golf course and 180 acres of woodland. It offers luxurious hotel rooms set in individual hotel style pods a stylish bar and restaurant and free parking in the main car park and WiFi. Massive thank you to Rachel...

Liked: Beautiful view from lodge 31. Very quiet and peaceful.
Disliked: The lodges get unbearably hot when weather nice (rare I know!) My phone overheated and wouldn’t charge, that’s how hot it was in the room. NO FAN PROVIDED, thankfully I’d taken my own.

It did not meet our...

Liked: Quite a nice hotel room. A very pleasant location with nice views form the outdoor seating area at the r.
Disliked: The bath was all chipped. The restaurant did not have enough staff. They could not fit the two of us in for a meal on our first night even though there were less than 10 people in the restaurant. On our second day we went for lunch and was given a menu. After looking at the menu we were told a large group was coming in and they were unable to take any orders for at least 45 minutes. There are lots of nice places to eat in Pocklington including the Feathers hotel which we found very reasonable. Our hotel room though quite nice was not what we expected as it was in the roof of one of the cabins.

Fairly disappointing for the price

Liked: Nice breakfast Great golf course Comfortable bed
Disliked: Radiator in bathroom broken and kept leaking water all over the floor making the tiles very slippery Not enough towels for hot tub & showerHot tub wasn’t private - viewed by 2 other cabins Lots of cobwebs in the room TV didn’t work properly and was buffering - tried auto tuning and still didn’t work fullyNetflix didn’t work on the TVNo security from 8pm - 10pm when we needed additional towels & water for the room so had to wait until 10pm to go back and requestChipped paint around ceiling lightChipped/broken bathroom cabinet The cabin (29 Huxtable) we stayed in seemed very run down and lacked in certain areas. It needs a bit of TLC
