Liked: the lounge afternoon tea. the staff were really helpful.
Disliked: i had a single room with a very small shower. the showerhead fitting threw the waterover my head and onto rhe shower wall. wetting my hair. perhaps a smaller showerhead would be better. i had to soap myself and then take the showerhead out of its stand and rinse myself off holding it in my hand. i have never had to do that before in a small shower cubicle.

Could do better

Liked: Great location on the sea front. Very helpful and attentive staff. Car parking available. Bright clean room with good dining room downstairs. Lift to access upper floors.
Disliked: Small room difficult to access 'off'side of bed. No refrigerator, no complimentary toiletries- not a problem but at this price I would have expected them. No USB points in rooms. Mattress was hard and room was very hot even with window open. Room poorly serviced - had to request toilet paper on two occasions as not restocked by staff. Breakfast was a bit 'hit and miss' - cold cooked breakfast delivered one day, incorrect meals, buffet not restocked as required.

Liked: Staff were friendly and sympathetic, went the extra mile, really wanted me to be comfortable.Hotel looks to have been totally refurbished - new bathrooms, paint, carpet and furniture.Breakfast was excellent, lots of good food, well cooked and well presented.
Disliked: Was very comfortable, quiet, friendly, room was excellent in every respect, couldn't be bettered.

Lovely seaside Hotel

Liked: Great seafront location. We stayed during the winter months and the hotel was warm and cosy. Excellent, well trained, and helpful staff. The food was excellent with well thought out menus.
