Didn't get what we had...

Liked: The common area where we could sit and play games after the children went to bed.
Disliked: When we arrived it turned out they had rented out our two room suite, so we had to all stay in one room (5 of us!). They were apologetic though and refunded us the cost.

all and all it was...

Liked: convenient to where I needed to be.. very clean room. comfortable beds.
Disliked: there was a person smoking a joint right outside the office door after checked in.. kinda gave off a not so great image of the place!

Would have been fine if...

Liked: The cleanliness of the room was good.
Disliked: I was traveling for work and was meeting with Corporate Executives for a presentation the next morning. When I got up there was not any hot water. When I called to the office, she looked into it, but did not communicate if there would be hot water. I had to wash my hair in ice cold water and forgo a shower. This made for a bad start to my day on a very important day to my career. No discount was offered for such an inconvenience.

Superb

Liked: This motel was very pleasant and comfortable and VERY CLEAN. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was huge. When we checked in we were greeted by a cute poochie and their toddler whose very friendly mama checked us in. I liked that family atmosphere where it was ok for her to bring her child to work, we need more of that.
Disliked: The only thing I would say I didn't like is there are no blackout curtains or any curtains at all to help keep light out from the room. There are blinds but they only keep people from seeing in. I like to sleep in darkness and the room was light enough to see the entire room in detail all night long.

Liked: Nice place, clean and great staff. Comfortable beds!!
Disliked: Only that it was slightly outside of Traverse City. But definitely worth the drive

Very good

This is a wonderfully comvenient...

Liked: This is a quiet, quaint, old-school motel. The location is convenient to Traverse City and surrounding areas (Interlochen, etc.) but in a small-town country setting. The proprietor was helpful and friendly. The outdoor areas were likewise nicely maintained and inviting.
Disliked: The facility was nice and clean, but for some reason we had a number of flies in the room. Certainly not the fault of the Motel staff. After we managed to dispose of them, it was a nice, quiet evening.

Good choice price wise compared...

Liked: Well kept facility and excellent staff. Nice fire-pit and picnic area.
Disliked: Shower head needs replacement and sheets checked for stains.

Motel was better than expected....

Liked: Decor and cleanliness.
Disliked: Beds were a little uncomfortable and light outside door bothered our sleep.
