Liked: I loved the history of the Lodge, 1642, amazing.
Disliked: The interior was beginning to look a little dated, but when you're running a small business, finding not only the time but the money can be hard.

Great stay and food

Liked: Great friendly staff especially the waitress last night and the food was very tasty . The room was clean and tidy and bathroom was a nice size
Disliked: The parking is a little small but this is to be expected as it's not a huge car park and it's a restaurant pub aswell as a hotel and because the food is great this will make it busy also for my comfort level the mattress was too soft

Would definitely stay again

Liked: We had a lovely member of staff who was more than happy to accommodate for my autistic daughter In the restaurant, all the staff were lovely and happy to help with anything

Lovely rooms, bar and beer...

Liked: Rooms were warm and comfortable. Instant hot water available all day. Bar downstairs is very nice. I had the Hunters Breakfast, it was delicious.
Disliked: Due to the age and character of the building, the stairs is very steep and might not be suitable for older guests with limited mobility.

Exceptional

Liked: Great location for Warner Bros studio tour. Lovely bar ,restaurant and garden .Had evening meal and breakfast both meals excellent quality food and cooked to perfection.Room very clean ,fresh bedding and towels .Really enjoyed our stay .Would highly recommend .
