Pleasant stay, great breakfast.
Liked: Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable enough if you just need a bed for a night. Takeaway over the road!
Disliked: Shower wasn’t powerful and took a long time to reach a good temperature (and then adjust slightly). Central train station might be over the road but check if your train runs through there. I booked the room thinking the station was close by, but still had to get an Uber to Bank Quay - obviously this is not their fault but worth noting.

The breakfast is worth it.
Liked: Staff brilliant, let me say that. The room. Cracked loo bathrom that had a definite whiff, blinds that didn't open, the WiFi got up and left, every time I logged on there was no Internet connection, and im pretty sure the tv was decoration only because we tried everything to get that to work, live tv was glitchy and it wouldnt/couldn't let us stream. The carpets need a rug doctor. It was overall an ok standard, not £72 standard more like £50. Its one amazing redeeming feature was breakfast. Now that was brilliant, the very pregnant cook moved faster then a speeding bullet, the food was cooked perfectly, and in front of you pdq. The only thing it might be nice to add is supply milk alternatives. My friend cant have dairy. But that cook, is worth gold. Give her a payrise.

Liked: Excellent location and value for money
Disliked: Could have been cleaner marks on carpet dust on top of radiator and could do with a lick of paint. Door at top of stairs is very noisy when opening and could do with some oil on hinges

Disliked: Noisy room, could do with double glazing. Shower pressure is very poor. It would be great if they serviced the room better
