Liked: Staff were lovely, bed was comfy, breakfast was decent.

Cheap, functional, very very tired.

Liked: The staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious. The bathroom was pleasantly tiled.
Disliked: It was functional and only cost £72 for the night. However the place is very much in need of some TLC and renovations. In the corridors up to the accommodation rooms all the walls were badly marked and in need of painting. The grey carpet was very dirty and worn. It needs a good clean or replacing. In the room the white walls were full of black marks, scrapes and dents. Some wall paper was peeling. Every chair in the room and in the breakfast room was either threadbare or split. Some really were ready for the skip. Inexpensive, functional but not that cheerful really.

Really enjoyed my stay here,...

Liked: Room was clean and had all the expected facilites (coffee/shower/tv etc). Staff were all extremely friendly and the breakfast, included in the price, was excellent. The hotel's location is fantastic, directly opposite Warrington Central Station and a short walk from the town centre. The bar had a good selection and the outside seating with retractable roof was impressive.
Disliked: Only one downside and I'm not sure whether it could be rectified. The blind on the window was not enough to stop sunlight getting through, so got woken up early.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were very polite and friendly ..Paula cooked superb breakfast and friendly.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.
