Fantastic view.

Liked: Great location. Beautiful view. Very clean.
Disliked: No air conditioning. No elevator and even though we got help with our bags it wasn’t offered readily.

Disliked: Entertainment outside till midnight … very noisy. We were not forewarned.

Liked: Nice location. Tasty evening meal. Friendly staff.
Disliked: It was weekend and singers outside… good singing but therefore noisy in room. We were not aware of this. It ended at midnight !!!

Warm welcome by the seaside

Liked: Very warm welcome and assistance with cases - very welcome with steep winding stairs! Good breakfast and close to good restaurants. Superb seafront location.
Disliked: Rooms at the front may be noisy if the windows need to be open (a hot weather issue only!)

Disliked: No lounge facilities for residents. Would be a problem in cold/wet weather

Great traditional hostelry in prime...

Liked: Well maintained character pub serving good traditional food and drink. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything that’s good about a proper English inn. Unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. Long may it flourish in this lovely town.
Disliked: Tricky stairs but a price worth paying for the second floor sea view!
