Well worth a visit ,...

Liked: The kings head was absolutely amazing and the manager was fantastic. Being next to the river was the best thing, the food was excellent too.
Disliked: Nothing ….

Comfortable stay and would be...

Liked: Convenient location with free parking. Just a few minutes walk to pick up boat trips. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: Not a problem for us but please be aware that the rooms are all upstairs.

We had a lovely long...

Liked: The room was clean, tea & coffee replenished daily. It was a lovely room and the bathroom was also really nice.
Disliked: I specifically asked for a river view and was informed that that was what i was getting. On arrival, we had room 4 and all we could see out of the window was the roof of the lower part of the buildings and ducting. If you craned your neck to to the top left, you could see a small part of the river. I was thoroughly disappointed with this. The room was also incredibly hot, there was a fan in the room, luckily we took 2 additional fans however in the heat we experienced, this still wasn't enough. Breakfast average, under staffed though as we had to keep asking for things that weren't available, cups, bread and orange juice as all had ran out. The bowl of fruit also looked like it had been there a while.
